Hi guys thought I would share this.
I was prewarned about damaging paint work when putting the main stand spring on.
I used an old ratchet strap and hooked it at the end of the bench.
Also had it strapped at the other end to stop it from slipping.
The strap pulled it right over the lug with ease.
I had to cut the strap right next to the spring to get it back out
Plus had to put a screw driver through the bolt hole to stop it from slipping off..
But no paint damage or huffing and puffing.😁
