Camshaft 67 695 is used only on the early A7 Longstroke Engine and although similar in design this engine uses completely different cam and followers. 67 695 does not fit the later (1950 onwards engines) Stick to the part number, not any seller's broad description for correct application. Some sellers list 695 as A7, 334 as A10. So folks order the A7 cam and end up with a Longstroke type which does not fit. Both later A7 and A10 use the same cams, 334, 356, 357 depending on model and variant.
New camshafts under the Hepolite brand are no relation to the old established and now sadly missed brand of yesteryear. Plenty on the Forum about cam choice and the 334 is suited for low compression pistons and a smoother ride. Flat top pistons and a 356 cam are a choice for a little more performance.
A new set of followers (or at least a reground set) is always recommended with a new cam. Like chains and sprockets mixing old and new gives a shorter service life. Old followers can be reclaimed with stellite and reground, even badly worn ones have a value, at least the basic metallurgy is correct, new repro aftermarket parts always carry a risk of incorrect hardening, as borne out by experience in earlier posts.
