Small tank weep
« on: 05.10. 2024 20:10 »
Disaster, my tank has just started weeping from the bottom at the back.  I leak tested it before I had it painted. As it is  only a small drip can I get the tank lined?

If I go for lining the tank is it a DiY job or should I get it done for me?  What is the best product or who has a good reputation to do this work?

G'day John.
*pull hair out* DIY. I've used KBS or Por15 (both are ethanol proof, Kreem is not) in a dozen or more tanks and had good results with both. Follow the instructions to the letter. Cover the outside of the tank with multiple layers of glad-wrap as it will kill your paint.
