The 1962-65 A65 forks for full width hub have the same sliders (and same hub and brake plate) as the 1960-63 A10 forks for full width hubs so offer no advantage either with damping or anchoring the TLS brake plate.

The 1968 A65 Lightning, Spitfire and Firebird front forks for full width TLS hub are damper rod pattern and have lug longer than A10, long enough to anchor the brake plate properly.

My A10 has these forks fitted and the damping is in my opinion superior to the A10 type whether or not fitted with the Eddie Dow dampers, they dont clang on full entension and the brake plate is anchored properly.
