1964Goldsen Flash plunger gearbox issue

!954 BSA Golden Flash Plunger gearbox
 Is anyone able to tell me what the thickness of the main shaft ratcheting mechanism spacer washer should be ?
Also  should a a10 lunger gear box be fitted with a gasket on the inner case of gearbox as mine was not .
SA hopefully getting a 53 A10 GF

G'day Adtrac.
Can't help with the 1st ? but as for the gasket. Some do some don't! I found with mine anything thicker than a fag paper upset the gear selection.
A few things cause this, the claw and pivot wear, the pivot arm amongst others. Even the amount of torque on the nuts & screws.
