Wanted - scrap A10 cam followers
« on: 11.06. 2024 20:43 »
I need the four cam followers for a refurb exchange for a 1961 A10SR.

Parts are 67-0333 exhaust and 67-0332 inlet.

Ideally scrap items that you have lying around ta but capable of refurbishment

thanks

Mate... just be wary! Used ones would need to be very close to the original height. -Unworn. Grinding will make them too short, they won't work and they'll clatter badly as they bottom out. (Ask me how I know!)

Berger - it speaks volumes for the toughness of an A10 that it was running up to that point and running well enough to break the crank!

rob it went on a 200 mile round journey and just sounded a bit funny when i got home, that night i took it to bits and the big part of the crank fell out because the timing side still had the gears on. i must say the whole engine clutch included was a mess, i managed to get a whole unit that a bloke had cut out of a  bsa frame and that unit is what i rebuilt and have today, he put a water cooled suzy  engine in the bsa frame and made a kneeler.
