Return of combinations in war.

I follow the war in Ukraine with horror and of course am rooting strongly for Ukraine.  I've noticed recently that the Russians have returned to using motorcycles and sidecars in the battle zone.  As these are copies of WW2 German designs there is more than a little irony.  There was a video earlier this week of a an outfit adapted to casualty evacuation, how long before we see one with a machine gun on the side car.  2024, it beggars belief.

If you REALLY want to find out what's been happening, look for Jeffery Sachs on youtube. It's an eye-opener. Things aren't quite as we're told by our media.

I follow the Ukraine war closely I don't really know what is going on, and of course why should I?  If I were able to do that then valuable information would be too accessible.
But my reason for posting was my astonishment at seeing Russian copies of German WW2 era outfits being used just as they would have been in WW2.  Prior to Russia's invasion of Ukraine there was much speculation about what a new "hi-tech" war would look like.  Nowhere was there any prediction of the return of motor cycle combinations to front line service.
