introduction

hi thanks for letting me join
i have a bsa framed hs500 ariel dirttrack race bike and have another i am building from bits i have bought going to put a 650 twin in it
the pic with the rider is a mate who rode it at a classic dirttrack ride day he loved it

Welcome to the most helpful forum on the internet. There is lots of wisdom ( learned from making lots of mistakes) and lots of help from people that know the ins and outs of the BSA Mark.

G'day Jim  *welcome*.
Your building a Spitfire Scrambler then. I think there's a couple on the Forum. Keeping the weight down will be a challenge. I made a set of engine plates out of alloy (duralium) plate and just about every thing I could.
What front end and rear wheel are those?

i think Suzuki front end and honda rear wheel have a rickman rear whell in it now and a set of early bultaco front forks and triples also a hodarka 21'' front wheel mudcatcher rim to go on
