Headlamp nacelle
« on: 30.04. 2024 14:55 »
In the process of rebuilding my rare ex police a10a. The nacelle is damaged so I am looking for a replacement or anyone who can replicate one. I could go down the route of gators but I am trying to keep the bike original. Can anyone help?

Hi I have a nacelle but I pad a lot of money for it and with two A's I am not convinced I want to let it go. They appear to have dropped in price and I a fairly sure the guy I bought mine from had one on display a couple of weeks ago and a local show (Suffolk).
His Name is John from Long Melford. If you want to contact him is PM you his number. Worty purchased from him and at the time he did not do postage so I picked up, paid and posted on. Quite willing to do the same.

Cheers Angus do you know if it was for an a10 as I got one from evilbay which was supposed to be for an a10 but turned out to be for an a65 and the guy would not take it back so have got that sitting in a box. If it is correct in good condition and a reasonable price I would appreciate your assistance.

Hi John tatty is good as long as they are whole. I am quite good at cleaning up and painting as long as there are no lumps out of them. Let me know how much you want.

I have a set. PM me and we can sort out a price. Thanks. I'm assuming you want the standard nacelle as fitted from 1958.

That looks OK, but it does make my £120 for a perfect one with new paint look a bit better then I thought with current prices as they are.
