Little nuts

 Not being as flexible as I was in my younger years ,trying to hold the small nuts for the back of the inner primary cover was getting frustrating so I came up with this  and it worked well .

I resorted to soldering a piece of welding rod to the nuts on one A10 I worked on

I tried holding the nut on a long flat screw driver , with some heavy grease but hard to get it on the right angle to start the thread … looking through my tool box I saw the tweezers but arthritis in my fingers couldnt hold them tight enough so a tie wrap did the job …. Waiting on a new chain before I finish and hoping the new mainshaft gearbox seal doesnt leak 😊

I've wedged a nut into a ring spanner with a bit of folded paper or rag.

tried that with some heavy grease to hold the nut in the box end wrench  maybe a couple  of wooden tooth picks would have worked better tapped in to hold the nut tight .....oh well its done

I have one of those but its on a 3 foot flex cable the nut has to be held vertically and the small prongs are in the way .....
