Every chance that they are not original to the bike. I believe it was despatched in April 53 so fairly early. Yes Thomas I would love to have it ready for next years ABR

It lives! Just took it for a run up my street, all seems ok so far, a few rattles to chase down and some small bits and pieces to tidy up but a good start.

Thanks for the positive comments. It’s a bit smoky even after a hone and new rings and on +60 so if it doesn’t settle down I may opt for a resleeve, charging system not working and need to chrome the levers and try to source original dip and horn switches

"charging system not working" look in elecktricks section .
Before a re-leave check it's getting spark & has compression.
