Hi,
I've an ex-museum(!) two-tone green '54 A7SS, with a '55 head.
Bit of a bitsa: plunger seat, wrong tank badges and knee grips, wrong rear shocks - too short, v poor front brake with green linings, forks poorly installed with different length springs and knackered circlips (one being a piston ring!), monobloc carb, '70's headlamp inner, magnetic copy speedo wildly inaccurate.
Looks like PO tried to fit rear sets and gave up.
But its the only bike I've had that's actually made me laugh riding it - such fun.
bought to ride but has turned into a project.
Andy

poor front brake because of the angle of the brake arm, if you do want a better brake set it up like the goldie racers did back int day

Andy, I love those early A7SS.
Looks good but I may be adding to your list. The tank knee grips look to be too high for 1954 even though they are wrong.

I like it a lot. Welcome! *welcome* Don't want to go too far into tech on your intro thread, but, following Berger, angle of the brake arm due to warn linings. May be able to move the arm on its star until new linings are possible.
