can i put a triumph cush-type clutch centre (57-1038/C) straight into my existing A10 swing arm (triumph type) 4 spring clutch?

I believe I'll have to fight to get the tab washer into the smaller diameter centre but are there any other challenges/mods required?

the part i'm looking at is here: https://www.britishmotorcycleparts.co.nz/57-1038c-clutch-shock-absorber-assembly-4-spring- which is 5 miles down the road from me.

why bother you ask? well, i'm having trouble finding a cush 4-spring / triumph clutch for my B (see other thread) and thought if the A10 donates its clutch then i can get a belt drive for the A! makes sense to me, sort of.

thanks!

Hi Mike,
Working from memory???
The cush hub will fit straight in place
I think you need the thick washer and nut with sticky out lip to go with it..
No tab washer used, add a drop of thread lock fluid..
If you fit a belt drive kit to the A10, you will lose the cush feature ? Unless you fit one of Tony Haywards Triumph based kits that retain the cush clutch hub...
Alternatively  get SRM to convert a crank cush drive to belt pulley
