If you were overhauling a gearbox,would there be any benefit in fitting needle rollers as per RR T 2 instead of reaming bushes?

Hi R66,
It is not a straight forward swop *ex*
You will find inevitably a worn layshaft so
You would need a new one,
I think the T type is different?? Also needed are the steel thrust washers that replace the bush flanges
The T type mainshaft and high speed gear are also different

In a word - no (unless it's going to do some serious racing - even then it's debatable).
