valve stem cap
« on: 06.05. 2023 01:53 »
So the very, very last bit I need before I can do the final assembly and give it a kick is one, yes just one valve cap.  I got a batch shipped and one was wrong.  My el cheapo calipers read the stem a .310".    There can't be all that many different stem sizes on Brit bikes.   Does anyone know of a later model whose cap would work?

I used Ducati 'closing shims' as I couldn't find any new caps from BSA parts suppliers.

Unit Triumphs appear to have that same valve stem diameter.

Hi All,
Early BSA B31's used .312in lash cap on the inlet side
