I'm looking to swap out a 1960 Golden Flash frame for a single or twin half-width hub type frame, as my bitza-build plans have changed.
I imported this frame back into the UK from Tennessee some years back and it was originally dispatched from the factory to Nutley, New Jersey on the 4th July 1960. It's in good shape and comes with the swingarm and brake crossover shaft, as well as a dating certificate I got from the BSA Owners Club. There's no V5 or any other paperwork apart from the import documentation.
Interestingly, it has the original engine number stamped on the headstock as well as the frame number (confirmed on the dating certificate). The previous owner in Tennessee didn't know why, so does anyone know if this was a requirement of the Tennessee licencing authorities at some point in the past??
I'm in the South London/North Kent area & happy to travel & maybe swap other bits.
