Or me as run leader!

My group always take the *** out of me for my mountainous rucksack I lug around, but it's me they come to for "have you got a 3/8 BSW spanner please?"

Problem is as I get older I keep leaving the thing at cafes, I have to stuff a glove in the sack to make sure I remember it, the problem then is to remember to put the glove in the sack when we stop!!

I have a tank bag (Lidl's finest) which carries all the things I hope never to need. I just swap it from bike to bike. I've never had to use it except to rescue a stranded MZ. Well, someone had to do it.

G'day Fellas.
Actually I have 3 tool kits! BSW for the BSA's, AF for the Hog and metric for the Asians. Could be difficult if I pack the wrong one. But in saying that, in 50 years of riding I've only had to break one out a dozen or so times (mostly for others) .

I always carry a few tools but also have CAA so if I breakdown and cant fix it they send a flat bed tow truck .
I remember years ago in the 70s guy got a flat tire on his triumph he left it on the side of the road to get help it wasnt there when he got back .

I keep a tool kit for each bike
Originally generic tools till I manage a full model tool kit ( + a few others )
I keep hold to sanity by restricting the tool kit to what will fit in a Kanebo Chamois box
And that will fit in my coat pocket
And they are separate from the "big" kit that is kept for workshop use

I have a nice range of tools in the toolbox of my bike, including spare spark plugs and bulbs. I also have rag in there for hand cleaning. I figure, if you have tools, you won't need em. Mind you, a few months ago I was happy to have tools when my clutch handlebar lever broke so I was able to swap the brake lever over to the left side.
