Sadly having to sell my 1960 A7 SS due to age and health reasons.
It was my tool maker dads old bike which I began rebuilding in 1990 using a large amount of NOS parts from Domiracer, Cycle Supply and British only in the USA with old dad doing the lathe and milling work.
I became very interested with the smarter looking American export models so it is modelled on that marque. (There's a period B/W photo in the Bacon book showing an A7 in Nutley blue paint and high rise bars.)
Now for the nasty bit.
As can be seen it does not have a barrel or followers. These were "lost" in the post at the beginning of Covid and I dont think I shall ever get over it...it's prob the main reason I cant carry on.
Happy to itemise the new components (receipts) and engineering work completed to serious enquiries only....its way too much to write here, suffice to say its got NOS original Hepolite standard pistons for starters. (not those grotty new ones...these are 60 years old!)
Re-enamelled frame and cycle parts are now dusty and mucky with some slight surface rust on the chrome having stood in shed for nigh on 20 years. Apart from the barrel it just needs a clean up and its ready.
Pet tank is rust/leak free, a few dents, original chrome but just needs tidying. Oil tank and tool box are rust, filler and dent free....both items are superb undamaged examples.
Tons more to mention, plse get in touch for the full list of parts and work completed.
