Wanted Plunger crankcase
« on: 07.02. 2022 09:42 »
G'day Fellas.
I got a quote to weld up the cracks in my cases  *eek* *pull hair out* *countdown*.
So now looking for a matched set in reasonable condition. Not concerned if bushes are in or out. Prefer a set from 53 or later with the crank seal.
I luv my engine # AA7 154 it might migrate  *whistle*
Gotta have it back together for the BSA National Rally in October.
Cheers

Thanks GB. I know it's like rocking horse poo or hens teeth.
Hopefully someone here might know someone who knows someone that heard about someone who knew a fella that lived down the road that had one *ex*
Cheers

 G'day Musky. Bad luck.

For those folks who think all Plungers are the same, well, they ain't.  That link above is certainly a Plunger Case, but with a Z prefix, it's the early non crank seal version.

BA Series is the one you want, so good luck prospecting.

 Cheers.

 Swarfy.
