Noted from the Mersey RGS thread the interest in lathe attachments. Not sure which to buy but presumably both equally effective in their own way.

Do you own a South Bend lath? That exact picture of the ball-turning attachment just showed up (via a link) two days ago in the FB South Bend Lathe group.  If you didn't see it there, that's a really odd coincidence.
