Windmills of My Mind
« on: 03.07. 2021 22:33 »
Following two recent posts in "Just a Picture" I thought I recalled someone challenging members to post pictures of their bikes with windmills in the background. Whether I imagined it or not, I thought it was a fun idea and took it seriously (serious fun, that is). Gave me an excuse for the 20 mile ride to Batavia, IL, where these windmills can be found. Take your pick of which is your favorite.

Not yet. Today was beautiful. My sister (13 years older than my old butt) lives in Eugene, OR, so she's gotten some of the worst of it.

Spring is about here. For those of you north of London, somewhere between Oxford and Cambridge, a picture of your bike in front of the Pitstone Windmill would start the season right.

Something to take the mind off of the seriousness of the world, I guess.

Good News! Heavy rain on its way so that should wash all the salt off the roads. *grins*

When the weather improves up here would a picture infront of the Crosby channel windfarm be allowed ??  Sunny day and it would look impressive ?
