JB Restorations - Dalton in furness
« on: 06.05. 2021 22:00 »
I’ve been trying to contact this company to get them to look at an A10 gearbox.
Anyone know if they’re still in business as I’ve tried phoning and emailing numerous times but no answer or reply?
Thanks in advance

Just had a message back from their ebay account - they are just doing wheel builds and magneto repairs at the moment :(

This was a few years ago so I don't know if Richards particulars have changed.

As mentioned elswhere I have just had great service from Richard Clamp who overhauled my gearbox within twenty four hours of me taking it to him. Richard is at 20, Green Lane, Grendon, Athersone, Coventry, CV9 2PL. His email address is cazo57@hotmail.co.uk. His landline number is 01827 737220.

Pretty sure those details are correct. He still sells gearboxes etc on ebay under the name Cazo57. Contact name is Cariol Clamp (assume its his wife)

Yes, Richard Clamp is the man. He's actually in Dordon, which is between Tamworth and Atherstone. Better still he is just off the A5, a major route so none of this round the backstreets trying to find a man in a shed. Been doing gearboxes for years. Straightforward to deal with, high quality job to your spec, reasonable prices, good bloke.

How this thread got mixed from JB Restorations at the other end of the country is a bit weird, but for BSA gearboxes, gearbox parts and repairs in the Midlands, he's the fella.

 Swarfy.
