Hi Everyone
« on: 06.05. 2021 08:48 »
Thank's for letting me join the group, I have just bought a 1952 Golden flash well in bits!
I was told it's all there just needs putting back together, Yeah Right!
I am in Plymouth UK and very keen to get this one finished.

G'day resto_man,  *welcome*.
Going by your name this isn't your first resto. Is this your first BSA?
Cheers

Looks like the wrong front wheel for starters.

How come; it looks like a half-width hub?

GB    Maybe a trick of the light, a black backplate (Single Sided Hub  more usually just polished alloy) and maybe the peg in socket arrangement instead of the torque stay, in which case not quite the right fork ends.  Hard to tell.  At least for now it can be pushed about which is more than can be said for my current effort.

Hi Resto'......see if you can find an air filter housing amongst the bits......  Don't worry about the banter, they're all full of envy.

 Welcome along.

 Swarfy.

Hi Restoman
Looks like the same front end as mine, which I wouldn't be at all surprised to find came from something else, the whole bike seems to be made up of whatever the previous owner could lay his hands on.
More details and pictures please.
