Nice motorcycle. The seat, tires and empty gas tank would be buoyant, but is it enough to float a boat?

Nah, the tide floats my boat. Bike's not bad, though. I'd prefer chrome pipes and megga and more brackets for the front mudguard before it cracks with vibration. But what's the engine? Thought it was A50 / 65 but can't be as there's no puddle of oil underneath ........

If I hadn't seen it I would have thought no, but it looks good, nothing at all looks out of place - one of those builds that looks like it was meant to be just exactly as it is

Not exactly me, but a very well thought out and executed build is that. Very neat.

I had two 65's when I was young, good bikes!.... Possibly the easiest British bike to live with of the lot, so easy to work on and service. The only thing I struggled with was getting the oil tank off for flushing purposes after a few oil changes. Easiest to keep oiltight by a country mile as well, if you have any leaks on an egg you need to give your head a wobble!

Yes, she'd look good in the stable. Well (but not over) done.
Yes the power eggs are easier to work on and keep oil tight. I've had two, 72 Lightning and 64 Thunderbolt. Luved them both.

Nicely done. So many of these things are 'over the top' because the makers are too concerned with looking 'different'.
This one is quite tastefully done.

My Canuck nephew's new A50, pretty standard (hate the high bars though)
(Anyone in OZ got a spare A50 motor? -I just need a new project).

Center mount oil tank appears to be from a 1966 Daytona prepared A50
