Who was the owner of the A10 with the Girder forks??

Hi all, many years ago I recall a forum member fitting girder forks to a plunger A10, it was a thing of beauty!
Is the owner still on here? I would love some photos as I would like to build something like this in the future!
I recall it being black!

I have a memory of seeing that done somewhere. I'd like to see it again.

This machine was at last year's John Bull, though it's got an A65 engine, so reaching forward in time as well as backward!

To each his own! There is absolutely nothing I like about that bike except the front brake hub.

Hi Lukey,
perhaps you meant the one built by Kamikazi Chop in Kyoto?

I recall seeing a picture of a fairly standard A but with girder forks. It looked proper.

I reckon those girders are a bit lightweight for an A series. They look more suitable for a 350 single like Ariel or Velocette. I did a similar conversion on a rigid late 1940s Triumph some years back and it didn't improve the handling at all!

Lukey,
You have pointed us to the website of our Moderator Emeritus, "LJ," BUT I don't see the girder pictures on the site.
