It seems its a grey area RDfella, You can take out cover to specifically include customers goods, but I didn't realise it was available.
Our house insurers would not pay out for items in the destroyed garage which were parts of our caravan, e.g awning as they should be in the caravan and covered by the caravan insurance. It was a bloody nightmare. I queried it and they said that parts belonging to any vehicle would not be covered unless it was in the vehicle. Thats Abbey National's policy. Other insurers are available !!!
I didn't take it personally mate. At least my stand is sold albeit at a bargain price and its in the post.
