My concern had been getting larger bikes up the ramp onto my table backwards - when I'm wanting to work on the front end of them away from the wheel clamp. Pushing them up was an operation fraught with danger for potential disaster.

So I bought a 240v power winch that I can mount in my bench vice at the end of the garage. Extended the leads to reach right out to the front of the table and I was ready to go. I was pretty pleased with myself. About the third time I used it, on the Loop frame, I pulled the bench over.

You could always buy a Goldwing or Harley with reverse.

If that engine was cold then i reckon you just showing off that it idles!

G'day Fellas.
Like butch I have trouble getting the bikes up backwards, usually a two or three man job. Just got a winch but yet to fit it up. Probably next week to do fork seals on the Cafe.

I'd been for a ride, so the engine was warm. If it was cold, you'd have seen me tickle the carb.
