Used thousands of lucar terminals over the decades and I agree a small(ish) wire into a yellow crimp is not ideal, but I don’t keep large lucar in blue – are they even available?. In retrospect I should have used a 50A wire instead of a 20, but didn’t see the point given the dynamo output is 11A max. Mind, I always double a wire over when it’s a bit small for a particular crimp. I invariably solder connections for marine applications, but never for automotive. Rarely have problems, this was just me being too hasty when working in an awkward place below the battery tray.
