I have a similar battery setup rated at 12v 10 amp hours. My bike is swing arm but I see no reason why the battery would not fit a plunger. So far it has been fit and forget. The battery went all through the winter without attention while the bike was laid up without any problems. definitely a worth while upgrade.

Not that it matters much but the batteries show are AGM which is auto glass mat.  Battery acid is hydrochloric acid and water. What we have in AGM batteries is the water is replaced by crushed fiberglass strands. The water is just a medium in other words it allows the acid to float about for the lead plates and cause a reaction.  The crushed fiber glass allows the acid to float about without producing CO2 in the equation which is what you get when water H2O breaks down.  Without the build up of CO2 the battery the case is allowed to be sealed. Thus a maintenance free battery was born.  Now there are Gel batteries which take out the water add a substance that when the acid hits it gels up and sort of spider webs all over the lead plates allowing the acid to move about. Gel cell along with AGM batteris are deep cell batteries. The only problem with gel cell in the auto use is they must be charged at a lower rate then most cycles and cars charge at. On older bikes wiht the lucas reg.  you could change the charging output but AGM batteries are so cheap and available...(ie exit light batteries.) Buy the way the difference between a $80 AGM battery 12v9ah battery and a $12 12V9ah exit light battery is the case. With the cheaper batteries the cases are thinner and not made to be vibrated. So If you are going to use a cheaper battery (which I do) it should always be stood straight up.  With many of the agm and gel batteries you will see guys put them on there sides, upside down and on end. Really doesn't matter for the reaction. How do I know so much about AGM batteries ...I sold batteris for 3 years. I really can't comment on the no acid batteries ...hardly sold any in my three years.
