clutch push rod mystery
« on: 28.01. 2020 19:14 »
I have found that after fitting the 4 spring clutch the push rod is now not long enough by about 4mm. it is the 5 bonded and 6 plain type. I have found a longer push rod but will have to take about 4mm off that one[ no idea what bike it is off] - very strange *conf2* I can't adjust the gearbox end enough to make the short one work or it will only have a couple of threads locking it. I will sort it with the longer one BUT has anyone come across this before?

cheers for that JulianS I will shorten the long one I have to  11 7/8ths cheers. it measures 12  1/8th don't know what it's off but it is same diameter. also found hidden in a box an assortment of shorter pieces like near enough two halves, maybe someone had been playing with the ball bearing in the middle of the mainshaft idea.
