Hi Richard
     Here's a photo of my bike, as requested ,I purchased it off e-bay in a box of bits and it's taken me 3 years to arrive at this stage of the rebuild. I relies she may not be perfect but i love her, by the way she's called black beauty. Also I'm under orders from my wife to restrict to local rides about 30 miles radius "due to my age", but I do envy those who can ride forever, good luck to em.

Nice bike Richard, I'm a big fan of the plunger models.

Now I'm no mathematician, but the way I see it if you are allowed a 30 mile radius then you could ride 30 miles away from your home and then do a circle staying 30 miles away at all times. Given that the circle would be 180 miles plus you have to travel the initial 30 miles and then come home another 30 miles you could go for a 240 mile ride all the time complying with the restrictions "she who must be obeyed" has imposed.

Worth thinking about.............................

Lovely looking bike mate.
I'm a big fan of plungers myself.
This mileage limitation does need to be open to some interpretation.
