From A.M.

I'm really pleased with this custom made ignition module that turned up this morning from Boyer Brandson ignitions for my Z1 Super Six engine. It’s been specially made to run the original Z1 coils and give 38 degrees advance 🙂

Bit disappointing that he didn't knock one up himself.

AM today:
Looking forward to finishing off my Mk2 Velocette MAC 698 V Twin. The engine is finished and ready to run with a few minor improvements from the Mk1 version. Check out the next edition of The Classic MotorCycle magazine for an article on my MK1 Velo V Twin written by Rachael Clegg Artist

From AM today:

Big thanks to Avon Tyres Motorsport for a pair of the new Avon Roadrider MK2 tyres for my Z1  Super Six. I’ve just fitted them and is now up on its wheels for the first time and feels remarkably balanced and light. The airbox mods are complete and ready to fit, just waiting for new inlet rubbers and clips from Z Power,  then it’s time to focus on the six into six exhaust 😎

Might be an idea to drill those front discs. When I was researching the brakes for my project (Suzuki GT750 forks / brakes) I read that the change to discs brought a dangerous situation of aquaplaning in the wet and drilling the (plain) discs was suggested as a remedy. I duly did that to mine.

RDfella, would you like me to copy/paste your comment into the FaceAche thread? I'm asking seriously.

AM:
Just completed the modifications to the Z900A4 airbox for my Z1 Super Six, and it now fits perfect with new rubbers and clips. I’m not fitting the intake silencer because I like the induction roar from a straight six engine. Just recieved a revised custom ignition system from Boyer Bransden Electronics which will fire the six cylinders with a conventional wasted spark, I will be installing and setting that up next 🙂

I’m sure he’s done all of this before. I’d like to see him putting an 8 across the frame now really.

He would not need a side stand.

If you Google him you will see that he has done a lot of wondrous things.

Why stop at eight? How about a V16?  *smile* ;)
