I appreciate your efforts on my behalf
I am guilty of being really disorganised, I seem to keep the "filing" system in my head
every so often when finally nothing can be found I have to spend a day or so picking up stuff and putting them back to where they belong
Yesterday was one of those days but the blank sprocket I was going to work on still has not appeared
I have large plastic boxes like the ones you see autojumblers use and stack parts in those with a rough description on a sticky label facing out, hoping to remember to restack them correctly after usually going to the bottom of a stack to look for something
(ya I know put labels on both ends
)
My workbenches seem to get covered in all sorts of bits and finding a clean space is always a problem
I do however keep the machine tools relatively clean
I think part of the problem is that when I worked I mostly had a "mate" along side who would clean and tidy stuff away when I finished whatever I was doing at the end of the day
