What is this object for...
« on: 18.10. 2019 18:34 »
I am trying to get rid of all things in my workshop, I do not use... but there are some things I don't know. Anybody know what's that for?
Cheers Tinu

How big is it? First thought, given the twin axis calibration, was that it might go on a mill, but the mounting and type of clamping would only allow very light work. Engraving perhaps?

It is about te size of my hand... could be from a mill, I got it from my neighbour together with his old mill. But is has only one hole on each side, not really suitable for clamping.

Hi Tinu.
That is used on a tool & cutter or surface grinder.

It could be used on a magnetic table or clamped externally, as stated, on a surface grinder.
But not sure how the work piece would be fixed to it.
