A good rider periodically checks all nuts and bolts with a spanner to see that they are tight - Instruction Manual for BSA B series, p46, para 2.

Not that I've seen the other side, but with the BSA based primary covers guessing this is a chopped motor with a pre unit box added. The Vin's are unit motors so extremely unlikely to fit unmolested. Most norvins either had the gearbox or mounts chopped. It certainly looks the part.
