Do we have any idea what year that is, or who those people are?

Those were the days alright.

Those could be my uncles in their younger days. On their way to the holiday camp for weekend fun and frolics. Stories of which got me into biking years ago.

"Those number plates are no longer with Swansea". Rather suspect the engines exploded and the rest dismantled. As happened to so many. *whistle*

Or could be The Nightingale, Salt Box, The Squadron or even off to the Busy Bee.....

That pillion is a hell of a handicap with his weight, coat flying in the wind and head and shoulders above the rider.

Yes, and that was exactly why Fordy gave me the nickname 'Dragarse'. I was on the back slowing his 2T Viliers down.
-Mind you, 55 years later I've been getting revenge around Tassie roads, waiting for him at the next pub, the VFR parked, waiting for his FJ to arrive, wearily raising the glass to him as he rolls up.
Yep, Sugar Loaf, Salt Box, Busy Bee, sneaking under the fence up at Brands... OUR days. WE had 'em and you CAN'T !!!  *grins*

I played some old Rocker / Mod videos to my granddaughter and she said " You had it brilliant then, wish I had lived then".
Although we didn't fully appreciate it, it was true.
We left school at 15, had the music, the freedom, no speed limits and HP to buy a motorbike. If you didn't like your job you could get another one the next day and in all that time I can't remember any one being drunk or high on drugs.
AAAAAH, what a time we had.  ;)
