Lucas volt. reg. Mounting

What is the factory correct mounting location for the voltage reg?. On a plunger A 10/A7.

 Under the seat on two bolts/setscrews in the 'contoured' holes in the mudguard
Started building in about 1977/8 a on average '52 A10 -built from bits 'n pieces never resto intended -maybe 'personalised'
Have a '74 850T Moto Guzzi since '92-best thing I ever bought doesn't need a kickstart 'cos it bump starts sooooooooo(mostly) easy

As duTch said. I rubberize the mounting with two little "engine mounts".  https://tinyurl.com/yyvj9rth  (1608G6U13) Lifts it up a tad but no one has noticed yet, also makes mounting/unmounting easier.

 Yep- I did much the same but just did a washer and nut then another larger washer each side which stay in place after the reG comes off....( maybe an upside down flange nut wild work just as well, but i guess that isn't 'original'- except in my mind)

I got it mounted, thanks
