Off camping for the first time in a few years. Just the section camp so not far see http://www.ipswich-vmcc.co.uk/Camping-Weekend
Taking the van, with just the A10 in it, but very over packed with gear at least two of everything, but hoping for a good week  *smile*

G'day Angus.
Have a great time mate.
I hadn't been to a rally for many years but two w/ends ago I went to the Winter Rally that's put on by my old club. Only 60 miles away. Must be getting old as I took a tent and sleeping bag on the back of the 51 A7. I was the last man standing on Sat night and won the trophy for oldest combined bike & rider.
I'll show them young'uns how to party.
Cheers

Ish - I was at a loose end this coming weekend so though not a member could have fancied coming over for the Saturday night.

Since arranged to stay over at my pals watching speedway on his tv and smoking fine cigars. In return I get to fix the dead fuel pump inside the tank on his Guzzi Griso (seems to be a common problem on these bikes - who'd have fuel injection and all that gubbins?).
Warning - observations made by this member have a 93% unreliability rating.

Bloody heel that is hard work go off grid for a week and over 2 pages worth of unread posts with multiple entries on each, then loads of other catchup to do before being able to post.
GB, Took loads of stuff to avoid going home for the week, it was only 25 miles and so would have been too easy to bail out for some creature comforts. I was not going to be cold, uncomfortable, wet/damp. So the van it was, it turned out I could have taken what I actually used on the bike  *smile*.
Its on every year cyclobutch and open to all VMCC members and day guests see http://www.ipswich-vmcc.co.uk/
Had a great week rode every day and the A10 performed faultlessly. She did 548 miles in the week and apart for a bit of a numb bum on the longest ride (I must get that seat re-foamed), I performed faultlessly too a good practise for the upcoming Northcoast 500 in 4 weeks time.
