Source for oil resistant clutch plates

Hi everyone,
A friend has left me with his 1927 FN M70, which has a badly slipping clutch.

I understand that BSA plates can be modified to fit. Don't know what model.

Because this is a wet clutch, the plate inserts need to be non slip in oil.

Who can supply BSA plates using this type of insert?

Cork is the answer. Good wine corks cut oversize then placed in boiling water to soften. Push them is and clamp between two flat surfaces to dry. I use perspex sheet. If you have the facility you can true them up on a lathe with a very sharp tool once dry.

Chambrier in France (https://chambrier-pieces-motos.fr) sell bonded cork plates for clutches that you can easily cut yourself.
You have to email them as the plates are not in their catalogue ( it only shows ready cut ' pastilles' for different machines)

Not on my T110 they can’t.

I picked the friction compound off them and glued cork mat on in its place.
