Gear control cam plate plunger leaking
« on: 01.02. 2019 19:23 »
]Just got my old bike back up and running and I find it's leaking from the Gear control cam plate plunger, which is on the underside of the transmission.  I only noticed this because I sealed up all of the other leaks and I'm down to this one.  Is there a seal that goes on it ? Am considering using teflon tape on threads or some king of gooey sealer but I'd rather do it properly.

G'day Bill.
I use a pipe sealer paste that doesn't go hard Loctite 567. Also used on all sump plugs.
Cheers
