« on: 20.12. 2018 01:10 »
Hi Mates
just ordered new Indian knee pads oval? as apposed to triangeish ?, what I would like to know is , do they need brackets to mount or they just screw straight on the tank, ?    can't see any threads in the tank, so what is the dia' of the screws, and do they (pads) normally come w/ holes ? thanks in advance

Hi Barry,
We have various knee pads and any mount brackets you may need depending on what tank, model, rubbers you want.

rubber pads attach to metal backing plates both secured by screws to tank
Tank usually has 2 holes on each side for this
That’s how I remember my 55 GF SA tank
Some tanks for A10’s did not have knee pads fitted thus no holes

Hi Mate

regards hole for the pads, mine had little plastic chrome domed like rivets in the holes and no threads

Others may have other ideas, but it seems your tank won't accept them and you might want to ask for a refund if a no-fault policy is in place.
