276 adjustment screw

Amal 276 carb...  170 main jet... A10 motor..  with no air filter connected..
Can anyone please advise me on approx how many turns from seated ( all the way in )
should the Air adjustment Screw & spring be turned out  *????*

G'day Woz.
With any carb I start with 1,1/2 turns out. A colour tune is a big help. I have a spare colour tune you can borrow if you want.

That would be handy mate... BUT hang off for now... & Aus Post is too unreliable  *problem*
I'll try with 1& 1/2 turns for a start, I've put a carb gasket kit through it but it's still leaking,
I might have to bite the bullet & buy another from Fleebay to make up one good one..
