Invictus
« on: 20.10. 2018 14:38 »
The Invictus games for damaged soldiers has just started in Sydney.
There was a short history of the games on TV.
Generally don't have a great deal of time for the monarchy but I think Harry has started something special here.
cheers

Not a great fan myself olev but have to admit old Liz has been a goodun. (hubby a bit of a liability), Charlie does a lot of hidden good stuff but comes across a bit naff, however the present younger generation are doing good stuff

I wish Harry could run for Prime Minister here. He'd have my vote.

Yep the Ginger Ninja is doing a good job..  *wink2*
My fear is when his old man takes over from Liz does Camilla become Queen?

Yes. She will be Queen Camilla the first. I don't know if it's possible but I wonder if Charles will pass the baton to William.
I'm not an enthusiastic royalist, I just think they are useful marketing for the UK.

She'll never be Queen Camilla in just the same way that Prince Phillip was never King Phillip, and Charlie-boy wants a crack at the top job so he's unlikely to pass it on (even though personally I think he should).

Send Ginge to the Antipodies and we'll have the Donald here to shake up the continentals. Sounds good to me. ;)

Need to get these names in perspective....Q-Betty & Phil, P-Chaz/Charlie/Chuck & Q-Cammo, P-Billy, and the Ranga 'Ginga Ninja' has always been the 'Fish and Chip Bitch from Ipswich'....
