What type of air filter do I need?

What type of air filters are you using?
Offset or center?
I’ve found the offset ones are not threaded, presume I need an adaptor and the center ones are threaded. Does that go straight into the carb?

1962 BSA A10 Super Rocket and has a 389/47 carb.

I understand the UK did not come with them and the standard A10’s came with the over complex filter with too many fittings. My ski slope and battery holder does not have the threads for that.

Just fitted one to my Super Rocket, strange really using one now after all the years without one.
Using threaded cone type from Burlen, good quality and appearance on Mk 1 Concentric and screws straight on.
You will need to go down on main jet and lift the needle up a notch.
Also fitted extended tickler.
After the Carby mods my bikes been a pig to start from cold, but ran quite well, found today tappets tight and float level to high, will road test tomoro after adjustment.

A center one will screw straight on (dim. 5"x 2" protruding threaded part included)
