Engine plate confusion

Hi folks,
It's me again, with another question about my basket case longstroke project.
Front engine plates, RH is fine, but the LH doesn't seem to line up at all. As the bike came to me in boxes, it's more than likely the wrong one, maybe off a later model. The problem is, which is the right (correct) part number for LH front engine plate? Are the longstroke plates different to the later rigid/plunger plates?
Draganfly's diagram says 67-4171, does anyone know if this is correct, or better still, does anyone have one they would like to sell?

 I know SFA about Longstrokes, but fairly sure from information garnered here that they are different to later models, as Plunger models are different to Swing Arm models.....and seem to recall that folks have trouble finding them. I may be wrong but think the left plate is dished outward (domed) to clear the Genny, rather than have a hole cut out....due to the original  Genny being a E3H and a bit shorter than a E3L.

 As far as I can gather maybe you need to look in the Hens Teeth box or if no luck try the Rockin 'orse pooBox

The long stroke plates had the holes for the crank case studs in different positions to the later ones as BSA changed the shape of the crank cases slightly when they revised the engine in 51. Up to 1948 the drive side plate had a dome rather than a hole as the shorter 40W dynamo was fitted so did not need to protrude through the engine plate. When in 49 they fitted the 60w dynamo BSA put a hole in the plate for the dynamo to stick out of. The attached pictures show the measurements of the holes and a early drive side plate.

Thanks for the info, at least I know for sure the one I have is the wrong one!
If it's going to be a chew on to find an original one, I'll just make one thats a mirror image of the RH plate.

Thanks also from me for the reply. Seems like all early A7 basket cases are missing the outer engine plate; the one trapped within the cases is usually there but the LH is missing. I've been looking for one too since 1986 when I got my 48. It's a challenge trying to find one for the long strokes, will likely make up one too.

We have one LH engine plate here to suit the Longstroke
Used Au$44.00 plus post. Will add it to website shortly if no one here replies with a want for it.
