....It currently tells a story, don't be in a hurry to erase it.
That's true;  as the bike is complete it may be an ideal candidate for the 'Oily Rag' style

It amuses me to see VW's painted to look like they are rusty!

Rocket Racer, you are very welcome to the plastic leopard-skin seat cover. I understand what you are saying, but this particular item has to be seen to be believed... *eek*

What! You should put it on Ebay; it's probably worth about a hundred quid!

Very RARE Vintage BSA motorcycle leopard skin effect luxury seat cover. Doubles as twin shower cap.

Go on, I dare ya!

Not only does this stylish 1960's faux leopard skin cover protect your beloved motorcycle saddle during inclement weather, it also doubles up as a very attractive toilet seat that will amuse and delight your friends and family...  *smile*

It looks a bit malnourished; perhaps you should throw it some meat.

Being a Newbie Newbie, like about 5 hours,I was looking forward to a little more knowledge in due course, but this thread thanks to Simon 59's welcome to me,has proven to be so interesting. The various comments and photos and Greybeard's video particularly are so encouraging. My latest worry now is that l won't be having spare time to do any spannering due to being on this forum and not wanting to log off.
Loving it. Chris.

I had one of those seat covers on my 1961 A7ss.   *grins*
I wonder if they are still available.

When my bike came to me in 197... it also had one of those seat covers! I made it into a very attractive toilet bag for my wife that she still uses, honest!
