Yes a rich slide is good for getting off the line or snapping out of turns but a bitch when cruising. OK it's not built for cruising  *bash*.

The bike is currently travelling around the USA, it will be in Orlando early next month, about an hour away from Daytona for which the machine was built. Unfortunately I’m still here in Australia at the present time, but will be in Las Vegas by the end of next month when the bike will be up for auction with Mecums.
The bike was given no justice here in the back of my garage, and hopefully gets a bit more recognition back in the states.
The clip was from where the bike won the inaugural road race championship back in 1954, Willow Springs raceway.
