hello :)
« on: 20.11. 2017 23:19 »
Hi there...I'm Tony.
About to embark on restoring a 1957 BSA A10...really like black, chrome and silver.
I'm grateful for the wealth of knowledge I've already found on here but hoping to get a few pointers along the way.
Heading to meet bob from nerepairs this weekend to strip down the engine and see what it needs...I'm guessing some might know of him.

You say you want a cowpat style cowl. I can see earlier/later headlamp and switch panel in the box of bits. Do you not want to use it?

Here is a nacelle for sale but it’s if no use as it’s in nz, but it’s an example, I’ve actually got  3 spare in various states (one NOS in Beige).

But I’m sure you will find what you want in the uk.

It seems impossible to find parts when starting a resto, but if you are patient you will find what you need at the right price.

Love that starting point. Just needs a weekend with the spanner, then a little paint, and all done  *smile*

Looking forward to see the advancements. Good luck and keep the spirit high.
