Wellseal and gaskets
« on: 30.08. 2017 12:38 »
Is Wellseal suitable for use with gaskets?  I am about to button up my gearbox and I want to make sure that I don't have any leaks. I know with a BSA that is probably a very big ask. I do have some anaerobic sealant too that maybe I could use which would be best?

I'm a big fan of wellseal on my A10. All you need is a thin layer applied with a brush is best in my opinion. The longer you leave it the tougher it gets and does help seal the faces. I always do both sides and apply a very small amount of grease to the fixed side of the cases to make removal easier.
