Not BSA, but still thrilled
« on: 05.06. 2017 17:00 »
Yesterday I awakened the Venom (Sleeping Beauty?) from it's 30+ year slumber! Still a lot of fiddling to do, like cleaning/greasing wheel bearing, swingarm pivot, fork overhaul, etc. but it runs. Norton is close to ready to ride as well, so I'll soon be getting back to the BSA. The Norton and Velo were much more complete, so mostly labor to resurrect. The BSA got put on hold because it's going to take both dollars and sweat. Tried to attach video of it running, but file is too large.

You could upload to YouTube and post a link here.

I believe you cannot post video of any length.

I don't understand Richard; I know you've put video on YT and I have as well.

Feller over on the Britbike Velocette forum has just unearthed a superb original Venom Clubman with about 1800 miles on the clock.
Been in an air-conditioned museum for almost all of it's life, wow!
Take a look Jachy-boy! (And lets see yours).

Jachenbach,

Do you think us Velo' owners should start a forum takeover bid? I'll show you mine if you show me yours.......

Oh...and here's the A10, first run on the road last weekend after two years having just fitted a new solo sprocket.

Two beautiful bikes. I'm trying to figure out how to put a video on You Tube, then I'll try to figure how to attach a link.

The link works fine, it certainly looks like you enjoyed the moment! You'll enjoy the Velo' without a doubt. Have fun.
